إلتقى السفير الدكتور هيثم ابو سعيد (رئيس بعثة المجلس الدولي لحقوق الإنسان واللجنة الدولية إلى الأمم المتحدة في جنيف) رئيس الجمهورية اللبنانية السابق العماد ميشال  سليمان بحضور رئيس أركان الجيش اللبناني السابق اللواء الركن شوقي المصري.

وضع السفير أبو سعيد الرئيس سليمان بملفات يتابعها في مجلس حقوق الإنسان التابع للأمم المتحدة خصوصاً ملف اللاجئين السوريين والاستحقاقات المحلية والإقليمية.

واستمع إلى شرح مستفيض للمواقف الوطنية التي إتخذها وحققها الرئيس سليمان في الملفات الوطنية، مشيرا إلى أن نجاح أي ملف وطني متمنيا في الوقت نفسه عدم تجاوز الاصول الديمقراطية في الاستحقاقات كافة طبقا للدستور ومنها الاستحقاقات الانتخابية.

Ambassador Dr. Haitham Abu Said (Head of the International Council for Human Rights and the International Committee to the United Nations in Geneva) met with the former President of the Lebanese Republic, General Michel Suleiman, in the presence of the former Chief of Staff of the Lebanese Army, Major General Shawki Al-Masri.

Ambassador Abu Saeed placed President Suleiman with files he is following up at the United Nations Human Rights Council, especially the file of the Syrian refugees and the local and regional entitlements.

He listened to an extensive explanation of the national positions taken and achieved by President Suleiman in the national files, pointing out that the success of any national file, wishing at the same time not to go beyond democratic principles in all entitlements according to the constitution, including electoral dues.

L’ambassadeur Dr Haitham Abu Said (chef du Conseil international des droits de l’homme et du Comité international auprès des Nations Unies à Genève) a rencontré l’ancien président de la République libanaise, le général Michel Suleiman, en présence de l’ancien chef d’état-major de l’armée libanaise, le général de division Shawki Al-Masri.

L’ambassadeur Abu Saeed a confié au président Suleiman des dossiers qu’il suit au Conseil des droits de l’homme des Nations unies, notamment le dossier des réfugiés syriens et les droits locaux et régionaux.

Il a écouté une explication détaillée des positions nationales prises et réalisées par le président Suleiman dans les dossiers nationaux, soulignant que le succès de tout dossier national, souhaitant en même temps ne pas aller au-delà des principes démocratiques dans tous les droits conformément à la constitution, y compris les cotisations électorales.
